Policy on Birthday Parties at WimborneDSME

As a club we have always had an open policy regarding birthdays, meaning you bring the party gear, gazebo (if required), tablecloths, balloons, cake etc to one of our public running days.  These are on the 1st and 3rd of each month April to October.  Please look at the 'Open Day page for individual days.  We are unable to cater for you on our Gala day, Halloween or Christmas run as these are very busy.  For your event a picnic table (1 or 2) will be allocated for you to set up and decorate however you like, within our picnic area.

A small charge for your party will be advised to you on application ,this will help towards the upkeep of the railway so many more visitors can enjoy their time with us.  Parties must be booked in advance using the contact details below.  Due to the size of our site / picnic area we cannot handle too many parties on the same day so please provide an arrival time of either 11am or 1:30pm the date you prefer and rough numbers attending in your email.  We will then put your details on our calendar to ensure we have enough members and trains available.
